Here Comes ABBY! Pets and Your Health?

Another great ALL NATURAL health remedy
DOGS, CATS, HORSES
In any good cancer treatment, stress should be avoided, but sometimes that is really hard to avoid.

We have always had Boxers as our choice of dogs, and they do not have good health genes! It all Started with Yohann and Anna................
My first Boxer, I bought in Italy. Anna was her name, she was a fat healthy pup! Then I had to have another, if your going to raise one pup why not two? So along came Yohann Von Esiel, from Germany! I let them have one litter of puppies for my three kids. WOW! Anna had 11 pups and two of them were born as twins in the same sack, with, might I add CLEFT PALLETS! We had reconstructive surgery done on those two and kept them! That was the beginning of Ralph and Madeline. I had four Boxers and three kids all romping through the house, and what a great place that was to be.
Unfortunately Ralph's kidneys quit him, he died at 2 years old. Maddie lived on to be nines years old and died also of kidney failure. Maddie's death was as hard as any family members can be. She was my constant. I was diagnosed with my cancer 1 year after she died! I could feel the lack of constant hemoglobin raising! A pet is so important to the human body. You get something different from their love than you do from your family or spouse. I really believe it is important for health to hug or just communicate to a pet.

Anna passed at ten years old of a stoke and Yohann as to date is still kicking, he is thirteen years old and in fairly good health, except for seizures, the Vets say it is epilepsy, which its NOT. He has hypoglycemia, I feed him honey three times a day and several small meals and he is fine. They wanted him on premedone $70.00 a month, tried it and it didn't work. Not only do you have ot be your own advocate, you need to be your pets too!

Yohann
I decided to move on a get another Boxer, so along came Bethany. I found her at the Red Dirt Boxer Rescue Center In OKC. She was 5 months old and in horrible shape. She had been in a crate all her life and  her body was covered in raw sores from demodex mange. I took her in, we bonded instantly. I mean really bonded. We went though torture together trying to relieve her mange, we went through months of dips and chemicals. That is what the shelter wanted and the Vets!  Bethany's immune system was so compromised that she could not produce T-3 Cells to fight of the everyday mites. I researched like crazy again, just as I did with my cancer. I started her on Cellular Forte max and tons of herb supplements, along with a raw food diet. She was getting better all on her own. Her coat was growing back!

Bethany cooling off in the MUD!!
Her supplements and food were expensive and every time I would cut back she would break out again. Proof that it was really working. Poor Bethany had such a bad start in life. She was now almost two and really full of spunk! But I never knew she had a bad heart, the Vets never told me she had a heart murmur, a real bad one. Well sure enough one day she fainted, I thought it was s seizure. It was her heart stopping, she started congestive heart failure and died in my arms 9 days later. If I had known about her heart I could have put her on an herbal heart supplement. It really tore me up, in fact I am crying all over again tonight!
I wondered if all this grief is detrimental on my health? I am not sure but I know all the love you had with them far out weighs any damage.

My dear Sis went through the whole ordeal with me and she could see how bad I was taking it, so she drove me to OKC to breeder and bought me ABBY, she was 10 weeks old and as pretty as could be! I resisted until I saw her. She is as precious as one can be. When she is in my arms I can feel the heeling!
If you can surround yourself with pets! If you can't have one of your own, give someone's pet a hug. Hold them tight and feel the transfer. It really works! I love to hug my horses and cats too! Sometimes you can feel the same thing just from a connection, like you communicate without speaking!

Pets are wonderful for good health, they raise your hemoglobin's!

Cold Oklahoma Winter and Eating Right

I planted a garden last spring (09) but I had to share it with everyone at the Ranch, several years back we made a community garden. I love the idea, until I went South on everyone! Since Aug 08 when I was diagnosed with cancer, I decided to do an organic garden, I guess we weren't all on the same page. Here came the Round Up and 7 Dust! So........I abandoned the project! We don't have a farmers market, we live in a real rural RED NECK community, where everyone eats at the corner greasy cafe or the new SONIC DRIVE THRU! and we buy our vegetables at Wal Mart, or should I say potatoes. My community isn't real big on organic anything let alone vegetables. Our soil is killer great, it grows anything and it grows it BIG! watermelons get huge and pumpkins well they are unbelievable! I have only seen a few of those around here, nobody cares about growing anything.

I have been stuck this winter, shopping at Wal Mart just like the  rest of them. Its funny how Wal Mart knows what to ship where, we get just the basics, nothing gourmet! We are lucky to have bok choy but we have a big abundance of iceberg lettuce and Roma tomatoes! So variety for a veggie eater is nil. When I was in Scottsdale Az, we went to Whole Foods! Has anyone been to Whole Foods? OMG!! I would die to have that store in my town. Shopping for a raw food diet and a all natural diet is not easy, reading labels is mandatory. I have found a lot more than I ever dreamed I would at Wally World! Even their bakery is starting to stalk all natural sourdough bread. I buy that for my boys for their garlic bread. I have some occasionally :)

Well come this spring I am claiming my own ORGANIC garden. Not only is it better for you to eat from your own garden, you will save money too. I plan to plant, tomatoes of course, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, melons, and herbs. Lots of herbs! Rosemary grows great here in Oklahoma, even though my Mother has pasted on, in her garden the Rosemary bushes are over my head. An herb garden is essential for any cancer cure or preventive diet. Fresh basil, garlic, rosemary, oregano, thyme, lemon grass, lavender and sage are a few great ones to have. All the mint families are great in a container too. I did grow a few herbs in a sacred spot last year, away from poison!

The ground is frozen and the new year is on its way............

16 Months IN on the Journey to be Cancer FREE Naturally!

Well Its December, that makes it 16 months since I was told I have one year to live if I DON'T do surgery and take treatment! OU Medical Center called me daily telling me if I don't make arrangements with a "TEAM OF SPECIALIST" I was going to DIE! They were ever so rude too. When I tried to explain to them I was going to seek alternative medicine, the Doctor said "like what? vitamins"? I humored him and said yes! I do use vitamins as part of therapy but come on? Surely that Doctor new of some of the wonderful protocols out there. Well out of there I was, I don't need them, but will have to admit, when I made this decision I was a bit scared to abandon conventional medicine, but I just kept think of ALL my family an what they all went through! That makes it a lot easier.

Well, to get back to my journey, somewhere last summer, I think in June, we had to go to Arizona to pick up a horse. I had heard about a really fancy state of the art Holistic Center, Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale. I wanted so badly to visit it and just see if what I was doing and my OLD Doc was doing, was really helping me. So.........I made an appointment and I went. Just my consultation, was $500.00. Ya, they really had it going on but, I was charged $500.00 to be told I needed further testing and that would cost $5000.00. They really YOUNG Doctor that helped me, took a little shine to me and gave me some insight. He evaluated MY protocol and diet. I couldn't tell him my OLD Doc's because I really never knew it, but he was sure my Doc was doing what was needed. The young Doc said you are doing almost everything I would put you on, you are doing very well for your own research. He also said "I should take you on for a pro bono, I could be famous" "because your cancer is so RARE, there is nothing I know to help you. I said EXACTLY! But we left and I never seen them again. One thing for sure, if you are going to cure your self naturally, its some what expensive. That is one thing I will disagree on, with most information on the net, going natural, holistic what ever you want to call it, it is EXPENSIVE, because insurance doesn't cover it and DOCTORS are expensive!

Dec 2009 and I feel great, I haven't even been sick with flu or cold in over a year. I guess that is from all the immune boosting! If I think back to how I felt one year ago today, it is like night and day!

Well with the last 4 post I hope I have everyone up to date on my journey, now that I really see the difference I am going to keep this blog up to date on my progress! I wish I had done this sooner.
